About

Personal

I’m Lindsey.

She/her. I live in South Philadelphia with my wife and dog, Moki (@mokifromsouthphilly). I’m a hobbyist drone pilot, enjoyer of all things food, fan of UConn basketball, and lover of tropical vacations. You’ll often find me reading, wandering Philadelphia, taking Moki for adventures, and trying new crafting hobbies.

Professional

I’m currently a Lead Engineer at WebDevStudios, where I lead a team of engineers building WordPress powered websites for enterprise clients.

I’ve been on the internet since middle school. I learned about hex colors by changing the colors of my AOL profile. My first website was on Geocities and had plenty of flashing under construction gifs. I found WordPress, created blogs, and learned that my hobby could become my career.

Now, I work with my team & our clients to build custom websites powered by the most popular CMS on the internet. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients of all shapes and sizes, from local government to Ivy League universities to enterprise organizations you’ve definitely heard of.

I’m happiest leading teams and helping developers level up their skills. I believe in never being the smartest person in the room, leading through honesty, and saying thank you as often as possible.

I’ve had a hand in all parts of the development process and I’m equally adept at solving a tough coding problem as I am explaining how to edit a website to a user.

About this site

This site runs on WordPress, using the fresh Twenty Twenty Four theme. I’ve kept it extremely simple – there is no build process and I have no site files locally. I installed WordPress directly on the server via the command line. I spend my days reviewing and writing code. I want to spend my off time writing.
